4a. Adults really can still have ADHD

  Dr. Russell Barkley,
a professor at the
Medical University of South Carolina,

is the leading scholarly expert in the field.

Recently he recently published a list of 9 symptoms for
diagnosing ADHD in adults to be included in the

Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM V)

His proposal suggests that if an adult has significant impairment from
  1. 6 or more of these symptoms in
  2. sneeze emoticon
  3. 2 or more settings(Work, Home, Social, etc...)
the adult warrants diagnosis for ADHD.  WhatHappened.gif

Work, scouts, and family life
were the settings that confirmed my diagnosis.

Symptoms suggested by the research
are all related to     executive functions in
 the brain and include:
1.   Easily distracted by extraneous stimuli.
